June 25, 2019 – Zhongtian Technology Ocean Engineering Co., Ltd [ZTTOEC], a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zhongtian Technology Co., Ltd [ZTT] announces the sealing of the contract for the Infrastructure Construction of the H1# 300,000kW Wind Power Project in Sheyang South Sea Area. The contract was signed with Huaneng Sheyang New Energy Power Generation Co., Ltd Construction [Bid Section II] Infrastructure Construction Contract with a value of 526Million Yuan [approx.67.843Mil Euro]. It was a breakthrough for ZTT with the Huaneng Group in the field of offshore wind power firstly as General Contractor and moving on as the EPC contractor.
As reported, the Sheyang offshore H1#300,000kW Wind Power Project is located in the South Eastern side of the Sheyang River Estuary to the Northern end of the sandbar. The work entails the wind turbine foundation construction, the wind turbine installation construction [Section II] of the project including the infrastructure construction of the entire 4.5MW wind turbine; the construction of a temporary navigation project during the construction period as well as the construction of permanent navigation the project of the entire wind farm.
ZTT Ocean Engineering, established in 2017 is an integral division of the ZTT marine industry chain and is one solid pillar which ZTT leans to the successful development of the “onshore and offshore optoelectronic integration”. It was also reported that ZTT Ocean Engineering had invested 1 billion Yuan in building its own construction vessel in meeting the needs of the offshore wind power construction. She now owns 2nos. 600-ton self-elevating wind power installation platforms, the Zhongtian 7 and Zhongtian 8; One no: 1600-ton floating crane piling ship Zhongtian 9; A dedicated submarine cable laying vessel the Zhongtian 5; and a unit of the largest hydraulic pile hammer MENCK-3500S in the domestic market. The company is capable of undertaking the construction of the 4.0-8.0MW wind turbine infrastructure, the installation of wind turbine equipment and completing between 60-120 sets of wind turbine construction annually.
Since driving the first pile for the construction of offshore wind power for the Huaneng Dafeng Offshore Wind Power Project on January 13, 2018; Zhongtian Ocean Engineering had participated in the construction of offshore wind power projects in the Huaneng Dafeng, the Three Gorges Dafeng, Guohua Dongtai, the Three Gorges River Construction and in numerous other locations.
